CAT WITH CUSHINGS

My little cat mix Canela was diagnosed on Saturday with cushings, I will appreciate any information on feline cushings. I know that almost every one here owns dogs with cushings, but maybe someone has a cat or some info about this syndrom in felines.

Hello Lorena and Canela,

I don't know anything about Feline Cushing's. I only know that it is quite rare for cats to have Cushing's.

Dr Peterson is mentioned as a Vet with experience in treating Feline Cushing's in the first article (link above). He is located at the Animal Medical Center in New York but I have heard that he does do telephone consultations with Vets all over North America and with Vets in other countries around the world too.

Maybe your Vet could contact Dr Peterson for information and advice.

For the ones who visit this place searching information about feline cushing, my little cat is being treated with ketoconazole and ciproheptadine, and by now she is ok, the symptoms dissapeared!!!
