Rollie Has Moved On...

...passing away unexpectedly at the age of 8.5. He collapsed on the grooming table. I and his sister Maggie miss him very much indeed.

I am so very sorry for the sudden loss of your dear Rollie. I so appreciate your kind post to me on the "Healing" board, and I also have been following your threads on the "Questions" board. This must be such a difficult time for both you and Maggie. In the midst of your grief over losing Rollie, you are also coping with finding the appropriate treatment for Maggie. That's an awful lot to have to shoulder all at one time!

And for little Maggie, she must also be missing her brother :(. Several other members here have struggled recently with helping their surviving pups to adjust to a loss. My co-host, Terry ("mytil"), has posted a helpful link on our "Resources" thread on the "Healing our Broken Hearts" subforum (Resources (http://www.caninecushings.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1321)). But we are still searching for more info that can be a help in this situation.

Anyway, please do remain with us, both in your quest for Maggie's care and also to ease your pain in losing Rollie. You have found a place here where folks do indeed understand how much this all matters. If you now visit the "Remembering All Who Have Left Us" thread on this board, you will find that Rollie will always be honored here.

so sorry on the loss of your Rollie, that's such a shame. it's much worse when it's sudden and unexpected and seems brutally unfair at that age. i'll be thinking of you

Just wanted to see how you and Maggie are doing? Please let us know - it is not that we are such busybodies, but when something really tragic happens like the collapse of Rollie, we do worry ....

i'm so sorry about rollie's sudden death. it's so traumatic and difficult to adjust. that a lot u have to bear just now, so lots of healing thoughts going your way
