I just wanted to let you know that my Maggie lost her fight today. She had rallied the last 2 weeks, l thought we were going to get through this. I took her to the farm where she loved to chase rabbits and mice and the only place she'd go where the grass touched her tummy. My heart is breaking but l'm glad she's not suffering anymore. l played the pipes as the sun set on my braw wee girl.

Connie,
I am so sorry that Maggie lost this final battle. These little weiner dogs can really burrow deep into our hearts, making losing them even harder. But the wonderful memories Maggie has left you with, will forever be within your heart. She understood that you always gave her the best in life and would do no less for her in death.
May the grass tickle her tummy while she waits for the final reunion.
Take care ~ Mary Ann

Connie my heart cries for you. I am sure that Maggie is in a better place - waiting for you at the bridge! You tried to hard to make life better for her, but there is comes a time when they have to leave us, no matter how hard we fight to keep them with us. Hugs my dear.

Oh Connie,
I am so very sorry to hear about Maggie :(
My heart aches with you. Your Maggie knew you did your best for her and to have had the love and devotion of such a sweet soul for 16 years I think is one of the most precious gifts there is...the sweetness of the memories will help heal your broken heart.
You can be sure we will always remember your girl here and will honor her memory.
We will also be here to help you through this very rough time....
Lots of cyberhugs to you and your family,
Terry (always Clancy and Mytilda's mom)

Dear Connie,
I too want to let you know how sorry I am about the loss of your precious Maggie. No matter how much time we have with them, it is never long enough. It is incredible how the love from such a tiny soul can fill our hearts to the point of breaking. But just as the others have said, I do hope that with time you will be able to find some comfort in your sweet memories, and in the knowledge that your wee one is now at peace.
With my sincere sympathy,
Marianne (forever Barkis' and Peg's mom)
