I learned so much

Hi All,

Even though my Dukie is no longer with me, I still like to check in on how everyone else is doing. I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone on this site. I have learned so much, I'am so much better informed about cushing's disease. If this awful disease should ever strike another one of my dogs I will know what to do, I will always be alert for the "signs". This site is such a blessing.

Hi Susan,

We all learn so much about this disease from this message board (and others). I learn something new almost daily about cushings and I have been here over two years, so it is a never ending learning experience. We owe so much to each other and to those who are willing to sacrifice time and energy to educating those of us who are in need of knowledge
in order to help our own babies. It is so comforting to know that there is a world out there with loving and caring people who have so much to give, and give it willingly and selflessly.

I think of you often, as well as all the moms and dads who have lost their furbabies and my prayers are with you all.

Hi Susan; I agree with you. This site was a great help to me, and I also leaned so much...sometimes,I think too much. It is 3 months today, since I had to let my little Maggie go, and the pain is still so fresh. I know you feel the same about Dukie. I am still having such a hard time remembering the happy times, but I hope that will come with time... I just wonder how long it will take. I too, think of you often. Take care, Jeanie
