I miss you daily.....my little Mytilda....you are still my best friend, my "little one" who I let go to the Bridge Oct 6, 2004.
If you want to tell me all about your day,
I’ll curl up on the couch with you and
listen to your every word.
for I’m your best friend.
If you want to tell me the same ‘ol joke
over and over again, you know I will laugh
as though I heard it for the first time.
for I’m your best friend.
If you want to tell me your secrets,
I’ll keep them with me and not
breathe a word
for I’m your best friend.
If life is getting you down,
I will entertain your woes away
and make you laugh again with my antics.
for I’m your best friend.
If you don’t want to talk at all,
Lie down on the floor up against me
I will always be here
for I'm your best friend.
That’s right, I will always be here,
for I’m your little one, your best friend.

Dear Mytilda,
I know that it has been two years now since you joined Clancy and Barkis and all the other doggies at the Bridge. And I know that you are still watching over your mom and your dad today, as you always will. But I just wanted to tell you about the very special way that your mom is honoring you, every single day, by coming on this board and helping all the other mommies and daddies and cushdoggies with her kindness and her comfort. I know that you are so proud of her!!!! For being willing to revisit her own memories in order to guide all the others. And for opening her heart, over and over again, to support those in need. And for making sure that every single angel baby is honored as they make their way to join you at the Bridge.
Run and play now, little Mytilda. I'll bet Clancy and Barkis will even let you herd them around -- at least for a little while ;). But also know that you will always be remembered and honored by your family here as well, today and everyday...
In loving memory of Terry's little Mytilda,
Marianne (forever Barkis' and Peg's mom)

Mytilda, you left your body two years ago in order to meet all our buddies at the Bridge. We give this special day to you. Your spirit lives on in your mom's heart and everyday she honors you by coming here and sharing her experiences in order to help others. That is the biggest tribute anyone could give you. Play on Mytilda, and welcome those who have come after you. I know you will do a good job of herding them and keeping them safe until they are able to leave with their loved ones.

For Terry and Mytilda,
Another year has passed, but the love remains constant and true. The bond will never be broken ~ the heart never forgets.
Mytilda, so many doggies for you to welcome this past year...for you to safely herd together until their moms and dads are reunited with them once again. Such an important job for such a sweet girl!
But first and foremost, you will always be your mom's special "little one." So today, we especially honor you and your mom, and the connection that you two will forever share.
In loving memory from your auntie Marianne (forever Barkis' and Peg's mom)

I know that "anniversaries" can be very difficult days to get through, and although I know there may be tears, I hope that today you will also be thinking of all the happy times you had with Mytilda and Clancy.
This photo http://www.caninecushings.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=42&catid=member&imageuser=38 is one of my all time favorite pictures in our gallery. When I look at it, I can see what a happy life Mytilda and Clancy had, and I know that every day with you was filled with love.

Thank you to everyone,
Rhonda, I know she has met Maggie :) Mytilda was such a nosy little girl - always wanting to be the first to greet everyone. I'll just bet they are both hangin' out under a nice shade tree in the cool grass with Clancy, Barkis, KC, Heidi's fluff angels and all the other furbabies patiently waiting on us...
Thanks so much Cushy :D - that photo was one in a million (lucky my hubby got it-that is me holding the stick). It is so perfect in every way for me in that it showed how much they really loved life and how much they loved playing - no holes barred with them - my little Aussies.
And a very special thanks to Marianne (my dear, dear friend)
My best to all of ya'll

Thank you Lynne,
I cannot believe it has been 3 years now and I still miss her terribly. I guess I always will. I wrote that little poem to her last year and it fits her to a tee - she was always there when I needed her.
Many kisses to Bailey and Clyde.

Terry, your dear poem with which you first started this thread will always bring tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. I am reading it again, today, in honor and memory of your sweetie Mytilda and all the joy and comfort that she gave to you so willingly. I am thinking of you both, and will continue to do so throughout this day of loss but also celebration of her precious spirit.
Many (((Hugs))) to you, my friend, in loving memory always of your little one,

Terry;
I just wrote to Kerral about Benson. Those darn dogs tend to somehow work their way so deep into our hearts and when they pass they take a piece with them. I am also thinking about you today and know my heart hurts for you as well, it reminds me of the ones I have loved and lost.
Hugs to you today and always

Hope you can make today a celebration of the wonderful memories and fun times you had with Mytilda. I know that achey emptiness will be there, too, but the joy of having loved her and her, you, is the most important thing
of all!! Sue/Zo

Your messages and kind thoughts have touched me more than you know. Thank you Marianne, Sue, Sharon, Shelba and Leslie. Come to think of it, weren't at least four of you on the original ezboard site when I came on with her? There is one who is missing though who helped me a lot.
Big (((hugs))) to ya'll and I am celebrating her today along with my tears.

Terry,
Mytilda must have been a special soul that connected you to all those here who are love you and miss her. God creates those special souls and sends them to us for such a short period of time to teach us what love and friendship is all about - and that is reflected in your poem. You have shown friendship to me many times and I so appreciate it. I am sorry for your sorrow but it is for a great reason, you loved and were loved without condition. You will meet again. Mytilda and Clancy will be on a path in the woods waiting with a stick to play again.
God Bless,
Christy

Dearest Beth and Christy,
Thank you for your messages and yes she was very special, just like all the pups here. She was a very neglected puppy and was well on her way to being destroyed as a fear biter - until I came along and she turned out to be the sweetest, most loyal little doggie who loved everyone.
Yep Christy her and her brother are waiting along with our other pups . . .
Big (((hugs))) to you both and Beth I know you are there beside me - Thank you.
