I am off to England on 16th July for 2/3 months to see my family :D I have just been offered a 2 yr old Wire Haired Fox Terrier :p , I will be saving him from being put to sleep. He has a great pedigree. This is a really freaky thing. I belong to an Australian Dog Board, and happened to mention in a thread that I liked Wire Haired Fox Terriers, as my Mum and I used to breed them 40 years ago. I got an email from a board member asking if I would be interested in this young dog, Ned http://www.picvault.info/images/124008_FreshNedEdit.jpg
He is currently back with his breeder who is going to hold on to him until I return from England ;) and then he will be flown from Sydney to Perth to become my next best friend. It is as if my Mum is still looking after my interests from the other side, 'coz as much as I loved my Coco, I was not sure that I would not put too much pressure on another mini-poodle to be exactly like Coco - I do of course realise that I would not have succeeded and I was fearful if disappointment. The Ned was dropped into my lap - pure fate (or my Mum still running my life):D
Hugs

Hi Loraine! :) That's wonderful news, both for you and for little Ned!
Why in the world would anyone want to euthanise a healthy young dog? My goodness! I'm so glad you decided to take him - he's one lucky little boy, and I am sure your Mum had something to do with you and Ned finding each other.
Please let us know the minute you get him home with you!
(((many many hugs!)))

Loraine, that is wonderful news! I have thought about you so much and it seems someone else was thinking too. Not only thinking but acting by placing little Ned with a wonderful loving mom like you. God bless you both.
Have a great holiday with your family and we will be waiting to hear all about Ned.
Love

Thanks Cushy and Shelba, I will most certainly keep you informed about this young man :D It seems he has gotten into the middle of a family tug 'o war, hence the decision to have him PTS :rolleyes His breeder is kinda sneakily shipping him over to me and will possibly tell the mean owner that Ned has either been PTS or run away :lol
Hugs

Loraine,
This is great! I am so happy for both you and Ned.
I always thought moms have a special way of taking care of us, this just proves it. She just knew that Ned needed someone very special to love him, and after talking with Coco, figured it might be the right time for you to love again.
We will all be waiting to hear all about Ned.
Have a great vacation with your family.
Take care ~ Mary Ann

Hi Lorraine! Whoo-hoooo!! I am so happy for you and Ned! I hope the tragedy in London didn't affect you or your family members... hope you can write soon and tell us more about Ned! Best wishes always,
Hi Lorraine! I was thinking of you and wanted to drop you a note. Hope all is going well with you. We're off on a small family vacation for a few days and thought maybe I'd catch up with you before we left. Talk to you in August!
Take care,
