Hi all,
We do have a few folks here whose dogs have been diagnosed with both Cushing's and Diabetes.
Here are some links which may be helpful.
Information in the chapter on Therapy of Concurrent Diabetes Mellitus and Cushing's Syndrome, from the veterinary textbook, Canine and Feline Endocrinology and Reproduction, 2nd Edition, by Edward C. Feldman and Richard W. Nelson, 1996

And here's a link to another website which explains the diagnostic process for dogs suspected of having Cushing's, Diabetes or both. Clinical signs and symptoms are discussed and lab tests used to diagnose both diseases are explained there too.
