Has anyone here ever used the water additive BreathaLyser by imRex for dental cleansing and combating plaque? Results, if any?

No I haven't, but thank you for the post.
I think maybe I'll try it. Rags really needs it. I wonder how/if it works, and what, if any, side effects there are?

Ingredients: Purified water, Glyercine, Hydroxymethyl-cellulose gum, Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Barley malt extract, D&C Blue No. 1 & Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.049% w/w as a preservative. 500 mL (16.9 US Fl. oz.).

So what is the "active" ingredient in this? Sodium Benzoate? , or Barly malt extract?
Sodium Benzoate is for reducing amonia in the body?

That may help with mouth odor, but I can't see how that would help the tarter on the teath.

Barley malt: ? .. good for making beer? ( I know sometimes Brewers yeast is good for humans and dogs, for the Vit B content.... how would that help with the teath?)

I don't know anything about it Patrick, but a GP vet told me it was good to use even after dental cleaning to fight tarter and bad breath. I am not advocating its use but I was assured it had nothing in it to compromise Misty's cushings and other issues. The jury is still out on that, and I would never use it, or anything else, without Misty's vet approving it. :D I was just wondering if anyone else had used or heard of it. Be sure and ask your vet about it if you do decide to use it for Rags. :)
